Founded in 1999, African Union Communications (Pty) Ltd (AUCOM) provides professional products and services to the Broadcast and Telecommunication market in Africa.

The company has acquired over 25 years of experience as a premier Harmonic distributor in Africa, providing multimedia systems such as Satellite Distribution Networks, Direct to Home Satellite (DTH), Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT), Over-The-Top (OTT) platforms and Contribution links.

Over the last few years, the company successfully provided complete Multi-Channel Digital Free-to-Air and Pay TV Head-End Systems to customers including Sentech, MultiChoice, MultiChoice Africa, NBC, RTD, TV Cabo and other operators in Africa.

Our services incorporated design, integration, installing, support and maintenance of Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) projects. Additional support services for these existing customers are provided by AUCOM, with full back-up support from our International Suppliers and their support offices located in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States.

African Union Communications (AUCOM) has its own Broadcasting transmitter Repair centre. This centre expands our professional services footprint and decreases the turnaround times on repairs for units that were normally repaired in other countries.

Aucom is a certified repairer for several overseas original equipment manufacturers (OEM’s).
